Dan and Lisa Brave and there staff pride themselves in offering our customers the highest level of services and will settle for nothing less than 100% satisfaction.  All of our “CARPET DOCTORS” are background checked and drug tested, and undergo continual training.  They are trained to provide you with the BEST customer service you can get.  CARPET DOCS services include superior eco-friendly cleaning of carpet, upholstery, area rugs, stain retardant application, odor removal and hard surface cleaning (tile, grout, stone, vct) as well as air quality testing for mold.

Dan Brave - Originally from the Chicago area, Dan acquired a love for Florida in his early teens and moved to the Tampabay area in 1980.  He later moved to NJ where he met his wife, Lisa, and owned and operated a highly successful business that focused on customer service. He has three wonderful children, and two dogs. Dan has always respected the natural environment and enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing, and of course, strolling our beautiful Florida beaches.

Dan has been in the service industry for most of his life, is a highly qualified Home Inspector, trained in Indoor Air Quality, and began his floor cleaning business in St. Petersburg in 2007.  He is IICRC Certified in upholstery, fabric cleaning and floor care.  Dan’s philosophy has always been to develop his company by providing his clients with True Value services.  Customer Service and Satisfaction has always been his top priority, and all employees are coached and trained to provide the best possible service.  He also enjoys meeting and talking with all his customers.

Lisa Brave - Lisa grew up in a suburb in rural New Jersey, and spent a lot of time in the woods, where she developed a great love and respect for wildlife and the natural environment.  She earned her degree in Natural Resources at The Ohio State University, and worked as an Environmental Consultant for 10 years, prior to having children.

Lisa is extremely proud to be the mom of two wonderful children, who are consistently Honor Roll and Principal List students in the Pinellas County school system.  She enjoys working with animals, especially dogs and horses.  Lisa has trained and shown Paso Fino horses, and enjoys riding all types of horses.  She relishes many types of outdoor activities including hiking, riding and enjoying the beach!  She also greatly enjoys music and theater, has acted in community theater and television commercials.

After having childern, Lisa began working with her husband, Dan, helping with the administration of their business, and performing and interpreting the mold testing and results that are provided as an optional service to customers who have had leaks or other forms of water intrusion that may have caused mold growth.  Lisa enjoys speaking with customers and always goes the extra mile to provide top-quality service.

We have been in the service industry for most of their lives and Customer Service and Satisfaction has always been their top priority.

Tim is our Customer Service Team Leader - Tim grew up on the east coast of Florida in beautiful Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  He attended high school at William T. Dwyer High School where he was very active in the high school band, playing clarinet for four years.  Following high school, Tim attended the Florida Culinary Arts Institute receiving two degrees, one in Culinary Arts, and one in International Baking and Pastry.  After working in the restaurant field for several years, he decided it was not for him, but he still enjoys cooking and baking for friends and family, especially his sister, who lives locally with her husband and Tim’s twin nephews.   Along with his interest in cooking, Tim has an unusual hobby and business.  For the past 10 years, Tim’s business, Spitfire Entertainment, has entertained hundreds with his exciting fire blowing presentations.

Tim has been working in the floor care industry for the past 5 years, and has been with CARPET DOCS for three years now.  He particularly likes Dan and Lisa’s priority of excellent customer service, as he describes himself as a genuine “people person”, concerned with the well being and happiness of others.  Tim loves meeting new people and has a natural knack for meeting their needs.

Justin is Newest Customer Service Specilist - Justin was born in Largo, Florida and spent the beginning of his life in Pinellas County. Shortly after his younger sister was born, Justin’s father received a job offer in South Carolina and the family moved. When he was eleven the Fiscus family moved back to Pinellas County Florida where Justin attended middle and high school. At age 14 Justin picked up a pair of drumsticks for the first time and never looked back! He taught himself how to play the drums and enjoys playing in local bands. Justin attended Largo High School where he met his wife Ashley. They married in 2006 and a year later had a son. Currently Justin is a Youth Leader at First Baptist Church and he is also in a band and loving every second of it. Some of Justin’s favorite hobbies are fishing, bowling, tennis, frisbee and enjoying our beautiful beaches. Since graduation he has worked in a variety of customer service positions, and always enjoys giving each and every customer his best. Justin will always go the extra mile to make sure our customers are satisfied with every service!

Nikki is an Important Part of Our Customer Service Team - Nikki was born in Chicago, Illinois and has lived in St. Petersburg, Florida since the Summer of '79. She graduated from USF with a Bachelor's in Music Performance on clarinet in 2009. She currently performs with the Suncoast Symphony Orchestra as their second clarinetist and more recently with the Tampabay Symphony Orchestra and Clearwater Community Band on Bass Clarinet. Nikki began working with CARPET DOCS part-time in December 2011. She looks forward to working with the team to make you, the customer, happy with the service we provide in your home or office.
